When Mel Redden, the retired co-founder of Redden Construction, Inc. was recently asked what phrase summarizes his philosophy and work ethic, he said, "Don't ever be afraid to get your hands dirty and above all else, keep the Owner happy". This "hands-on" philosophy has continued to be the major building block in the solid Redden Construction foundation. As a client, the people you will deal with from the top of the company ladder on down will be employees who care about your satisfaction. Both our office personnel and our field staff will offer prompt, capable and professional service with the genuine desire to produce an "unconditionally satisfied client."

From our beginning as a small Father-Son Company in 1952 to today's financially sound Corporation, Redden Construction has always believed that to perpetuate our history, we must adhere to several beliefs:
|
Our growth must be steady, strong and conservative, we never accept more work than manageable. |
 |
We must stay abreast of all types of commercial projects - churches, schools, medical facilities, restaurants, financial institutions, offices and unique specialty projects which make our work fun. |
 |
We should stay strong locally - within the confines of Arizona, in particular the Phoenix-Metro area. |
 |
We must take care of our employees and their families to solidify the team effort needed to stay on top of today's ever changing construction industry. |
Redden Construction has held to these beliefs to establish our history and our long list of referrals who are "unconditionally satisfied clients." These beliefs carry over to today's sole owner, Michael S. Horvath. Michael has been with Redden since 1974, he became a partner in 1992 and has taken over sole ownership when his partner David Redden retired in May 2002. Michael has been and will continue to be involved in all aspects of running the business.

Redden Construction's expertise is two-fold; Our field staff leads the way with all of our full-time project superintendents having learned the importance of early stage problem solving. These superintendents who are all experienced, knowledgeable and courteous lead a group of tradesmen who are conscientious, skilled and competent cornerstoned by our "in house" concrete and carpentry crews. It is their efforts that produce the quality buildings that keep Redden Construction's name above the others.
Our office staff follows in this same mold. They are consistently clear, prompt and current in their project administration. The bidding team is consistently competitive, comprehensive and fair. Thomas Johns and Michael S. Horvath have extensive experience including cost and method analysis assisting Architects in designing a project with a budget in mind. Prior to and after bidding a project, Redden Construction, Inc. provides value-engineering to the Owner and Architect for their review. We achieve this task in-house and with many of our specialty contractors that are on our select bidders list. We are the contractor of choice for local Architects to produce accurate and timely preliminary budgets for established clients.
Nancy Collier assists our project managers with job costing using Timberline Accounting software. Our reporting is timely and accurate. Project managers use Timberline, Excel, Word and Microsoft Projects for tools in tracking projects.
We believe our genuine willingness to eagerly perform these tasks leads to our ultimate goal; the "unconditionally satisfied client."
